BBC Strictly's Helen Skelton thanked her dance partner Gorka Marquez after the pair missed out of the glitterball trophy.
The presenter and Strictly favourite appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning (December 19). Ranvir Singh was standing in for Lorraine and she spoke to Helen all about her Strictly experience.
The Countryfile presenter spoke fondly of professional dancer Gorka and said she was 'so grateful' for him. Joining Ranvir live on the show from her home in Cumbria, after dropping the kids off at school, Helen joked that there was no-one around to do her fake tan before she appeared on Lorraine.

She then spoke of Gorka, explaining: "He is a credit to that show and he is a credit to his family, to Gemma and to Mia, and to Strictly because... it's telly and you're exhausted."
She continued: "That show pushes all your buttons, you're so emotional and you're travelling up and down. We train up here in the north and then go down there for the weekends, you're here there and everywhere. You're laying your vulnerabilities out on the dancefloor.
"He never pushed me to say things I didn't want to say and he never made me pull the thread that would've made the jumper unravel."
Ranvir later commented on how it felt like we were watching Helen fix her broken heart as she danced it out on the programme. She said that many women were in 'her situation' - referring to her break-up with ex-husband and father of her children Richie Myler - and saluted her for her strength.
But Helen appeared to dodge the comment and instead spoke of how encouraging her children were. Each week they would ask her if she's winning the glitterball trophy and she said she told them that she was - and that she was doing it for them. She added that she had made so many amazing memories on the show.
Helen was in the Strictly final alongside Hamza Yassin, Fleur East and Molly Rainford and their professional partners Jowita Przystal, Vito Coppola and Carlos Gu. Each couple performed three dances each - a judge's pick, their favourite routine and a show dance - as they fought for the Strictly 2022 title.
And it was wildlife cameraman Hamza who was crowned the winner by public vote. He and Jowita had regularly topped the leader board throughout the BBC One dance contest.
After being announced as the winner, Hamza, 32 said: "It's hard to describe how I feel..." before turning to his dance partner. " I want to thank one person in particular... Jowita you are an angel disguised as a human being."
