BBC Strictly fans in stitches as they spot Gorka Marquez 'flash his bum'

Strictly Come Dancing viewers were laughing and gaping in amazement at their TV screens as pro dancer Gorka Marquez pulled a cheeky move after his latest performance with Helen Skelton. Gorka and his celeb partner tore up the dancefloor with a triumphant jive to Tightrope by Janelle Monáe during Saturday night's live show (November 5).

After their rip-roaring dance ended, the pair took their places with host Tess Daly and faced the judges. As they waited for Craig Revel-Horwood's critique Gorka swivelled around and struck a pose by jutting out his derriere.

But Craig declared that their performance had just fallen short of him reaching for his '10' top score paddle. "I was almost reaching for my 10 paddle," said Craig. "I was disappointed," he told them.

"You still can do it, look," Gorka urged as he made the same pose. Then Helen cut-in with another shot at impressing the panel by performing a cartwheel in front of them across the studio floor.

@GavinWi79234383 took to Twitter to ask: "Is Gorka trying to increase Craig's score by flashing his bum at him?" @OliveBlob observed: "Gorka showing his rear to Craig." And @gomezftstyles_ laughed: "Gorka showing is a** lmao."

A distracted @Bufferb2012 joked: "Gorka stop doing that." And @MattMooreJourno commented: "Gorka's bum can get a 10 from me." Finally Gorka and Helen got a nine from Craig, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas and a 10 from Anton Du Beke, bringing in their highest score of the series and the highest-scoring jive of he Strictly Come Dancing 2022.

Gorka has been left impressed by Helen in the training room. "In seven weeks I've only seen her sweat twice." he said as they discussed the fast pace of the upcoming routine on the Strictly spin-off show It Takes Two.

"She has stamina for days, I think having three kids, she never stops, and doesn't give me breaks." "He makes me do a meditation app to calm down," Helen revealed, claiming she can have too much energy.

"He needs me to calm down," the mum-of-three added. And host Janette Manrara said: "So, it's a partnership made in heaven then."

Helen revealed that Gorka 'winds her up' when it comes to the results show. "Also, he winds me up all the time," Helen admitted to Janette.

"When we're waiting to go on and everyone else is going 'it's fine it's fine', he's there going 'oh better get ready [for the dance off] Helen.'"

But Gorka defended himself: "It's not winding you up, we don't know if we were going to be in the dance-off. I just try to keep my body ready for if I have to dance again. I like to put myself in the worst-case scenario and then if it's not the worst-case scenario it's good news."
