BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Taylor is bookies' favourite to exit show this weekend

Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Taylor is the favourite to be booted off the show this weekend after managing to escape the first dance-off.

The comedian's odds to exit the hit BBC show have gone to 2-1 which makes her most at risk, according to bookmakers William Hill.

Ellie and her pro-dancing partner scored a total of 30 out of 40 for her Viennese Waltz, but despite her high score, and increased confidence in hold, it seems fans aren't convinced she'll be ion our screens much longer.

Other celebs that face elimination are actor James Bye (2-1) and Jayde Adams (3-1). Jayde danced the American Smooth in which she experienced some balance issues, causing Craig to criticise her for her limp arms before heading into a lift.

Meanwhile, James and Amy danced the Quickstep, and after seeing a few wobbles here and there, scored an impressive 32/40. However, he’s still at risk of leaving this weekend.

If the odds are anything to go by, Ellie could be next to follow the recently-eliminated Matt Goss.

The Bros frontman failed to impress the judges and found himself in the dance off for a second time - ultimately failing to beat out Kym Marsh for a space on the show.

The standout performance of the week went to Hamza Yassin, whose Samba saw him soar to the top of the leaderboard with a near perfect 39 - also seeing labelled the new favourite to win, as he’s priced 2-1 to take home the glitterball trophy.
