Fans were left 'outraged' when they discovered the latest elimination result on Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the results show airing on BBC One. The remaining 14 couples took to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 8) for the first themed episode of the series and it was all about the lights, camera and action.
It is the third time the couples have appeared on the dancefloor but this weekend it was the traditional movie-themed edition with performances from the likes of The Lion King, Sweet Charity, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Dirty Dancing, to name but a few.
During the special episode, Kiss radio host Tyler West and Dianne Buswell scored the first 10s of the 20th series for their Charleston to Flash, Bang, Wallop! from Half A Sixpence. And it came after having run the London Marathon last Sunday. Will Mellor had viewers hot under the collar as he performed the American Smooth to Cry To Me from Dirty Dancing with his partner Nancy Xu.

A memorable moment also came when former England footballer Tony Adams stripped down to a pair of glittery red football shorts and pink socks as he danced the samba to You Sexy Thing from The Full Monty with Katya Jones. However, the ex-Arsenal captain landed bottom of the show’s leaderboard after this week’s performances.
But there were gasps on Sunday after the result from week three appeared to be leaked online prior to the results show airing on BBC One at 7.20pm, despite being recorded straight after the main show on Saturday night. Fans usually discover the result on Twitter, however, new pro dancer Carlos Gu accidentally revealed who went home in an Instagram post he made on Sunday.
Avid Strictly fans who follow all of the pros’ social media accounts were quick to clock the reveal, which came by way of a caption Carlos wrote, the Chronicle reports. It didn’t take too long for the Instagram post to disappear but, by that point, it had already caused a stir on Twitter.
Warning fellow fans not to look, an account called Strictly Updates posted: “"f you haven't already. DO NOT look at the caption on Carlos's insta post SPOILER on who went this weekend." One viewer who also saw the post tweeted: “carlos leaking the strictly spoiler has the same energy of literally every 2019 contestant leaking it every week,” promoting another Twitter user to respond: “He did what?!”
A third wrote: “not carlos literally becoming the new strictly spoiler." Carol, who was one of four new dancers to join the professional line-up this series, is currently impressing the judges and viewers alongside singer and former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
They placed second on the leaderboard this week for their waltz to One Hand, One Heart from West Side Story. Craig Revel-Horwood said: "This was actually the first show I did professionally (West Side Story). That was absolutely magnificent. Grace, elegance, flow, movement around the floor – gorgeous."
