Steve Bland is expecting twins with his new wife, Amy, four years after the death of his first wife, BBC star Rachael.
Steve, 41, met his second wife Amy, an advanced nurse practitioner, at a cancer conference in Manchester in 2019 and the two tied the knot in August.
Following Rachael's tragic passing in 2018, Steve began presenting the You, Me and the Big C podcast alongside Lauren Mahon and Deborah James, before he eventually met Amy.
Steve and Amy are now expecting twins, and the couple shared a sweet announcement on Instagram to share their baby joy with the world.
Amy took to the social media site to share a snap of her blossoming baby bump alongside Steve and Rachael's son Freddie.
"Team VB is getting not one, but two new recruits next year. Twins arriving in spring, all being well," the sweet post read.
The adorable snap sees Amy's step-son, Freddie, beam from ear-to-ear as he points at Amy's blossoming bump in front of the Christmas tree.
The couple's joyous baby news comes just one year after they announced their engagement last December.
The lovebirds didn't wait around to get married, and they tied the knot just a few months later in a lavish ceremony in Cheshire in August.
At the time, proud dad Steve revealed his son Freddie acted as best man on his big day.
"What. A. Day. Our wedding day literally could not have been more perfect," he penned.
"All our favourite people in one place, so many smiles, so much laughter, loads of dancing and memories made, and a little too much kraken. I've got a lot of people to thank, chief among them my best men Freddie."
Widower Steve has spoken out in the past about refusing to feel guilty about finding love again following Rachael's tragic death from breast cancer in 2018.
During an appearance on Lorraine earlier this year, Steve said that Racheal wanted him to find happiness again - for both him and Freddie.
"It's one of the most common questions I get asked: 'Do I feel guilty? 'Why should I? I'm 40-years-old and I've got the rest of my life ahead of me.
"Rachael wanted me to be happy and wanted Freddie to be happy.
"We need to break down the taboo and stop worrying about being judged for it. We're trying to be happy and to make the most of life."
