Maisie Smith has been hailed a "natural beauty" by fans as she wowed many with a string of makeup-free selfies. The 21-year-old former EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star took to Instagram recently to share snaps taken while on holiday in Istanbul, Turkey, with boyfriend Max George, 34.
Thousands of her one million followers flocked to the comment section as the actress sported a makeup-free look in a chic denim white sleeveless dress. She finished the outfit with a pink jacket, white trainers and a pair of sunglasses.
In the first image Maisie can be seen looking 'au naturel' as she gazes down happy at a plate of delicious food. In the following snaps, she poses on the corner of an empty street, flaunting her gorgeous frock with her hair tied up loosely.
Another photo shows the BBC star smiling sweetly as boyfriend and The Wanted singer Max George gives her a peck on the forehead. Fans were most wowed however, by one particular selfie as Maisie uploaded a close-up snapshot looking fresh faced.
Praising the 21-year-old for sharing her natural look, Hamster__1874 wrote: "When you prove make up is overrated." Michelle_taylor64 gushed: "Naturally beautiful."
Jackiestarling1 said: "Look so beautiful without make up." Michelleemmatucker declared: "I have to echo what others have said..... whole other level of beautiful bare faced! Stunning!"
Nerskynco typed: "Wow, you are a different league of beautiful without make up." Leaboo26 put: "So naturally beautiful." Max George himself commented: "Best trip ever."
Maisie's holiday selfies come a few days after her and Max - who began dating each other last September - sparked engagement rumours after Max joked he had ‘popped the question’. But instead of a proposal, the couple – who are known for winding up fans on social media – shared a snap of Max putting a huge onion ring on Maisie’s finger.
The duo also sparked controversy following their ‘pregnancy announcement’ on April Fools Day. On her Instagram Story at the time, Maisie wrote: "We've got some really exciting news." But as fans scrolled to Maisie's next story, they soon realised it was all a hoax.
