Every Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland men’s international match will be screened live on the BBC until at least June 2028.

The public broadcaster has extended its exclusive rights agreement with UEFA for two years.

The contract covers about 60 games including the UEFA Nations League fixtures in the autumn plus all Euro 2028 qualifiers involving the three nations.

The BBC has been the home of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland games since March 2025, when UEFA took the rights off Viaplay.

The Scandinavian broadcaster had held onto the rights despite selling off parts of its sports coverage back to Premier Sports following a brief venture into the UK market.

Some Scotland games ended up being shown on YouTube without studio analysis or post-match reaction after Viaplay failed to sell off matches individually.
