Matt Tebbutt has revealed he was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
The popular chef is best known for presenting BBC's Saturday Kitchen after he took over hosting duties following James Martin's departure in 2016.
The 48-year-old issued a health update on Instagram to announce he needed an appendectomy.

Matt shared a picture from his hospital bed with his 62.2k Instagram followers
He captioned the post : "Me, a morphine drip and an emergency appendectomy are keeping me from a much anticipated lunch at @manteca_london with @ollysmith @sarah10016 @hardiegrantuk."
Matt proceeded to thank the NHS staff for his treatment.
He continued: "But everything and everyone here at The Grange hospital in Gwent have been fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more from such a brilliant health service. So grateful."
Matt's celebrity friends and followers flooded the comments to wish him well in his recovery.
