Audible gasps were heard on The One Show on Wednesday (May 18), as one guest took a verbal swipe at broadcaster Piers Morgan. The topical BBC evening show aired in its usual 7pm slot and the remark that made the presenters' jaws drop.
Hosts were left speechless and there were audible gasps from the presenters as Matt Allwright introduced his Watchdog slot. Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas were on the sofa with special guests Ainsley Harriott, Grace Dent and James Acaster.
Matt Allwright was first up as he presented the latest edition of Watchdog at the start of the episode, reported Birmingham Live. He said: "Tonight, in The One Show's Green Week you might think you're saving environmentally sound pounds but does your pension need some attention?"
