The trailer for BBC One's new and intriguing drama Inside Man has dropped and many thriller fans are keen to know more. The four part mini-series comes from BAFTA and Emmy award-winning writer Steven Moffat.
Inside Man has an incredible cast list, including David Tennant, Stanley Tucci, Dolly Wells and It's A Sin star Lydia West. While the trailer hasn't given much away, BBC has confirmed the show will follow a prisoner on death row in the US, a Vicar in a quiet English town and a maths teacher trapped inside a cellar as they cross paths in the most unexpected way.
A synopsis reads: "In the US, a prisoner on death row is seeking atonement as he faces execution. On a train in England, a journalist is looking for a story. In a quiet little village, a vicar is picking up his son's maths tutor from the station. All four are about to be entangled in a dilemma that could lead one of them to murder."

David Tennant plays vicar Harry Watling, Stanley Tucci takes on the role of inmate Jefferson Grieff, Dolly Wells plays maths tutor Janice Fife, and Lydia West is Beth Davenport.
But when does Inside Man start on BBC One and how many episodes are there? Here's everything you need to know.
BB C's Inside Man start date
The drama starts on Monday, September 26 at 9pm on BBC One, the hour-long episode will be on until 10pm. There are four instalments in the mini-series, with the second kicking off on Tuesday, September 27.
Speaking about Inside Man, David said: "Very hard to sum up, because there are two separate worlds going side by side. Part of the joy of watching the show is wondering if these worlds are ever going to collide. But from my character’s point of view, it’s a story about a man who, in pursuit of doing the right thing, makes a series of catastrophically bad decisions."
