BBC Breakfast presenter Carol Kirkwood has revealed how she almost ruined her boyfriend's proposal to her earlier this year.
The Scottish presenter appeared on The One Show to promote her new book as she discussed her relationship to presenters Alex Scott and Ronan Keating.
Carol, whose boyfriend popped the question in May, revealed the proposal took her by surprise when they went for a picnic down by the river before she noticed him starting to fumble.
