Love Island 2022 came to an end last night as Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned the winners.
There were a number of celebrities who provided well wishes for the final contestants as they made video messages to be shared on the show. One of the famous faces rooting for them was BBC Radio 1's Greg James.
In the video of him that was shown on the programme, Greg paid homage to Davide's legendary line as he said: "Go on Davide, go on Ekin-Su - if you don't want them to win, you're a liar, you're an actress."

But later, the radio DJ took to his social media as he revealed that he actually had to film a second message after his first attempt was rejected by producers at ITV2. He joked that he was "not expecting the call next year" as he shared his original take to Instagram.
As a caption over the video, he wrote: " Love Island rejected my first attempt at a good luck message." In the clip, he said: "I’m so excited for the Love Island final I can lick my own t*t… or whatever. Good luck to the finalists, particularly Davide and Ekin-Su. If you don’t want them to win, YOU’RE A LIAR."
He added: "Softened it on the second take" as he shared the clip of what was aired. He had removed the reference to Andrew's antics with Coco in Casa Amor.
Fans loved it and thought it was absolutely hilarious. They flooded the comments with laughing emojis.
Ruth said: "Crying at this. Love Greg so much." Kelly said: "This really made me laugh. The word t** makes me laugh like a child." Meanwhile, Shona said: "Wish they hadn’t rejected that!"
