Holly Willoughby will not be out of a job if she was to be dropped from This Morning, it has been reported.
It has been said that the BBC are poised and ready to offer the presenter other gigs if she was sacked from ITV.
Allegedly the BBC have been ready to poach Holly for years and this could be their opportunity if she was keen to present with other celebs.
The 42-year-old last worked for the channel on her prime-time show Freeze The Fear with Wim Hof.
Sources have said that the BBC have reportedly been wanting ITV to part company with Holly so she is free to take on other projects.
The MailOnline reported that a source said: "Holly will get bums on seats at home. She is popular with the very-much-sought-after 16-24 age group, too, which is a huge deal for all broadcasters."
Holly's husband Dan Baldwin is a TV executive and his production company, Hungry Bear Media, makes programmes for multiple channels, with the biggest customer being the BBC.
It has been said that he has been trying to get his wife to present with other male celebs such as Lee Mack on Freeze The Fear and Bradley Walsh on Bradley And Holly Take Off.
Holly is set to return to her usual This Morning presenting gig on Monday, but she will not be joined by Phillip.
He stepped down from the show after he admitted to having an affair with a younger member of staff.
He has since said that he lied to Holly about the relationship and that he has apologised to his presenting partner.
Holly is due to present the ITV daytime show alongside show regular Josie Gibson next week, after taking a break due to it being half term.
Addressing the Phillip revelations, Holly wrote on Instagram : "It's taken time to process yesterday's news.
"When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not.
"It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie. Holly."
The Mirror have contacted the BBC and Holly Willoughby's reps for comment.
