BBC One's hit game show Pointless is on the lookout for new contestants, so if you've always wanted to test your knowledge and star alongside hosts Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman, now is your chance. They are searching for "fun" and "lively" people to take part in the next series of the programme - so do you think you've got what it takes?
The popular quiz show has been running for more than a decade, with the first episode airing in 2009. It puts contestants under pressure by challenging them on their knowledge of a wide range of topics, but the winning pair are the ones who discover the correct answer no one - out of 100 people - has.
Pointless contestants need to play in pairs, so you'll need to get a willing family member or friend to apply with you. The Pointless application website teases: "Could you trust your mum, brother, your housemate or your gran under pressure? We would love to hear from pairs of fun, lively people who think they can take up the challenge."
If you spend your evening shouting Pointless answers at the TV, then now might be your chance to put your quiz skills to the test and try your hand at winning the jackpot. Here's some more information on the application process:
All applicants will need to be 18 years of age and over to apply
Applications close at midnight on Friday 3 February 2023
You will need to be a legal resident of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
