BBC Peaky Blinders fans floored as Tommy Shelby's son arrives and he looked like major pop star

Peaky Blinders viewers were left stunned as they tuned into the latest episode of the hit series. Season six of the BBC One drama began earlier this month and fans are savouring every moment as it is the last outing for the Shelby clan.

But there was a shock on Sunday night as viewers watched leading star Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy, introduce his long-lost son to the family.

Erasmus "Duke" Shelby was the result of a one night stand Tommy had with the character Zelda two decades ago. The head of The Shelby clan learned the news during scenes aired last week after his bride romp 20 years earlier under a hazel tree with the boys now-deceased mother at Appleby Fair.

He found out about Duke's existence on a visit to the gypsy camp where he had been living with his relatives ever since his mother's death. Tommy learned of the boy's identity shortly after the tragic death of his daughter with wife Lizzie, Ruby, who passed away from TB.

But it wasn't just the sudden new addition to the family that caught their attention - it was the fact he closely resembles a certain popular former boyband member, according to the Daily Star.

@vhsfear tweeted: "Can’t believe they got Harry Styles on the show #PeakyBlinders."

"Genuinely thought it was Harry Styles, I need to find my specs #PeakyBlinders," @laureng5783 said.

@fireproofloki commented: "I can’t be the only one who thought when tommy’s son came in was harry styles at first #PeakyBlinders."

"Tommy’s son is a Wish version of Harry Styles #PeakyBlinders," @SaraBtweet1 added.

Duke has been brought to Birmingham by Tommy as he invited him to join the family business after learning his tragic fate in last week's episode.

Unbeknown to the rest of the Shelbys - including siblings Arthur, Finn and Ada and treacherous cousin Michael Gray - Tommy has been diagnosed with tuberculoma after undergoing tests when Ruby fell ill. His GP delivered the shocking news to him during the previous episode and gave him just a year to 18 months to live.

Duke Shelby or Erasmus Duke is played by Conrad Khan. The 22-year-old is an up-and-coming actor from London and in his seven-year career Khan has worked on two big movies as well as Peaky Blinders. He is probably best recognise for his role as Tyler in Henry Blake’s 2020 feature film County Lines
