A BBC newsreader was forced to chase the camera after it panned straight across her in a technical blunder.
Victoria Valentine looked confused after she noticed the hefty camera had started to move as she started her segment.
Thinking on her feet, Victoria continued reading the auto-cue as she started running across the studio to where the camera was pointing.
"We start in the Swiss ski resort of Davos," she began, but before she was able to elaborate the camera started moving away from her.
She started to laugh as she said: "You know what? Stay - stay with me."
"Sometimes this happens, just to prove it's live," she joked.
Victoria was forced to ad-lib as she started talking about Labour Leader Keir Starmer.
After the mishap, she took to Twitter to laugh it off, with several ski-based puns.
"Unexpectedly off-piste today for a Davos story."
"Bend ze knees & trust (in your director),"
"Thank you to the cool heads in the gallery this morning who make recoveries *almost* look like they were scripted all along."
Viewers rushed to praise Victoria for how she dealt with the malfunction.
"No one noticed," one viewer joked.
Another said: "When it all goes to pot, just laugh and roll with it."
"Brilliantly handled. Gotta love the robo cams," one wrote.
"It’s a never fail, good to have some entertainment with the news," a fourth chimed, adding a laughing-crying emoji.
The incident came after Gary Lineker was left red-faced after coverage of Liverpool's game against Wolves was interrupted by porn noises.
The noises started as Gary tried to speak with Alan Shearer to discuss analysis before kick-off.
Gary addressed the moment, saying: "I don't know who is making that noise but Alan Shearer is on the commentary gantry."
The audio stopped briefly but started again once Alan replied.
The culprit behind the gaffe was revealed as a YouTuber Jarvo69 aka BMWJarvo went live and steamed the stunt to thousands of viewers.
