A BBC News programme has been pulled from air as the studio has been evacuated.
On Tuesday morning the Look North live broadcast was interrupted by a sudden evacuation. It comes following reports that the fire alarm went off in the building where BBC North East and Cumbria are filmed.
BBC confirmed the news on Twitter, on their official North East and Cumbria account. They offered an apology to viewers as they wrote: "Apologies to our Look North viewers."
