BBC News presenters have been told to change into black clothes as the Queen's doctors become 'concerned for her health'.
Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday, September 8, that Her Majesty was being kept under medical supervision at Balmoral.
Members of the Royal Family, including all the Queen's children, are travelling to her bedside, reports Daily Star.
BBC One has also suspended all regular programming until 6pm while the BBC website has scrapped its usual red theme and the site is instead filled with black banners.
Viewers quickly noticed the change in the outfits for the presenters as they took to Twitter to share what they had noticed on-screen.
One person said: "BBC presenters in black."
Another wrote: "Apparently BBC have pulled their programming until at least 6pm and have changed into black..."
A third said: "Everyone's wearing black on the BBC."
Huw Edwards led the way as the BBC newsreader was dressed in a black suit paired with a black tie as he gave updates on the Queen's health.
The change in outfit comes as programming was cut short, with an episode of Bargain Hunt pulled off air 20 minutes before the 1pm news was due to start.
The rest of the day's schedule has been cleared to cover breaking news up until 7pm this evening, with Doctors and other upcoming shows due to air moved to BBC Two.
