A guest who appeared on BBC News earlier this week has attracted attention on social media after an unfortunate caption featured during their recent interview.
Claire Connelly, chief financial officer of bottling company Clearly Drinks, was interviewed on Thursday. It came in response to Liz Truss' resignation as Prime Minister.
The segment saw Claire discuss the ongoing political instability. She spoke about the affect it can have on businesses like Clearly Drinks, which is based in Sunderland.
The recent interview– which had aired on BBC News at Six – featured a caption which identified the guest. It had read: "Claire Connelly, Chief Financial Officer, Clearly Drinks".
It has since been joked that the BBC looked as though it was implying that Claire 'clearly drinks'. The line was of course referencing the name of her employer though.
A screenshot of the caption was shared on Twitter. A social media user wrote alongside it: "Well now, that's not a very nice thing to say about someone, BBC News".
Their post has now attracted more than 22,000 likes. It has prompted numerous tickled responses, with people sharing their support for the Clearly Drinks employee.

Some people said they couldn't blame others for drinking in the current climate. One person said in response to the tweet: "After the last few years, who can blame her?"
This sentiment was shared by others, with one person writing: "Hardly surprising with the economy how it is". Others instead shared laughing emojis in their responses.
There was further support for Claire by others, with one person simply writing: "We stan". Another response to the original tweet read: "Claire should be protected at all costs".
As stated on its website, Clearly Drinks has been bottling in the North East since 1885. It describes itself as having become one of the UK's "leading specialist bottlers".
Claire discussed the impact of recent political and economic events on the business in the interview. She said "clarity and certainty" are particular issues at the moment.
The Mirror approached Clearly Drinks and the BBC for comment.
