BBC Morning Live viewers worried as Janette Manrara kicks dog in the face

Morning Live viewers were left horrified seconds before the end of the latest show after Janette Manrara accidently kicked a dog in the face. The former Strictly Come Dancing star was back on the BBC One show on Tuesday (June 21).

She joined Sam Quek and Gethin Jones for the programme's daily workout segment and was joined by her husband and fellow former Strictly star Aljaž Škorjanec. They were also joined by vet Dr Greenwood's dog, Dolly, and another believed to be Gethin's pet pooch.

However, one of the canines got a little bit intrigued by Janette and Alijaz's moves. "This week we are celebrating Glastonbury and today we’ve got [Aljaz] and Sara’s move," Janette explained at the top of the segment. "Yes we have, our move from the Cha Cha Cha and a quick little story this is one of the few times on Strictly Come Dancing that I completely forgot what I was doing so this is a redemption for me."

Soon it was time for Gethin to wrap up Tuesday's show. Meanwhile, the dancing couple were performing a final move which saw Alijaz spinning around his wife with her legs out to one side. But disaster struck when one of the dogs got a little too close to the action and ended up being kicked in the nose by Janette.

Viewers could just about hear cries of 'Dolly' in the studio as the camera stopped rolling and all they could see was the closing credits. It didn't stop them, however, flocking to social media.
