A Scottish cook is set to have the opportunity of a lifetime when she competes on popular BBC show Masterchef this year.
Stirling-born Lisa Addison is "pinching herself" after finding out she will appear on the BBC One programme in 2022.
The keen home cook posted on her Instagram account about her appearance on the show, alongside her mouth-watering dishes and personal life.

On social media, she wrote: "I'm so so excited to finally be able to share my news with all my amazing followers. I'll be a contestant on this year's @masterchefuk
"Tune in to BBC One and @bbciplayer on March 23rd at 8pm to follow me on my journey.
"I can't thank my family enough for their enormous support, this is an absolute dream come true. I'm still pinching myself.
"This is absolutely proof that if you take risks and chase dreams then it might all just pay off! Never be afraid to dream, and never be afraid to be who you are."
Lisa is set to launch her own food business soon and will be collaborating with business Turnip the Beet.
Turnip The Beet is based just outside Glasgow in Dumgoyne, and you can order their creations on the website linked here, which include dishes such as 'The Wallace' - a lamb and mint burger served with minty fresh yoghurt, caramelised onions and lettuce on a brioche bun.
Other menu offerings include The Danny, a homemade burger with onion, cheddar and streaky bacon blended throughout it, and vegan meatballs.
You can tune into Lisa's episode of Masterchef on BBC One from 8pm on Wednesday March 23, and catch up on BBC iPlayer afterwards.
