The third and final series of BBC's Happy Valley is currently on our screens and as the last episode looms, many fans have been speculating on how the show might end.
In last week's episode, Catherine's happy retirement plans were left up in the air as Tommy Lee Royce escaped from court, meaning she and her family cannot return home until he's found.
Catherine and Tommy have history as he's the man who raped and impregnated her daughter Becky, who then committed suicide after giving birth to her son Ryan.
He then went on to kill Catherine's colleague Kirsten McAskill in a brutal murder and raped Ann Gallagher, who is now in a relationship with Catherine's son Daniel.
Unbeknown to Catherine, Tommy had got in touch with Ryan through an instant messenger on his games console.
Tommy told Ryan that he was planning on running off to Spain, and when Ryan asked his dad: "What are you gonna do? Are you armed and dangerous?", Tommy revealed his plan for the pair of them to escape to Marbella.
Elsewhere in the episode, pharmacist Faisal Bhatti has just killed his neighbour Joanna Hepworth and has framed it on her abusive PE teacher husband Rob.
However, the police know that Joanna has been getting prescription drugs illegally and are keen to find out where she has been getting them from, hinting that maybe it will lead them back to Faisal.
When is it on?
The final episode of the third will air this Sunday, February 5, at 9pm. However, since it's the last one ever, it will run on a little longer than the others, it will be 1 hour and 10 minutes long from 9pm until 10.10pm.
Have the tissues and popcorn ready, we suspect it's going to be an emotional rollercoaster!
What to expect
The synopsis for the bumper episode hints at what to expect in the episode, it reads: "Catherine works her final shift, when scores are settled for good, while grandson Ryan faces a moral dilemma. The conclusion of Sally Wainwright's gripping drama about a Yorkshire police sergeant tormented by the ghosts of the past, starring Sarah Lancashire."
Will there be anymore seasons?
Unfortunately not, the sixth episode of the third series will be the last one ever! However, it's so top secret that even the cast don't know how it ends after they filmed several different endings. There are no plans for anymore series of the Sally Wainwright drama, which is set in Calder Valley.
Where can I watch it?
All three seasons are currently on BBC iPlayer, but the final episode will be on BBC One on Sunday at 9pm.
