Rylan Clark was stunned into silence by the voting in Saturday's Eurovision final, with him declaring to fans that he 'couldn't deal,' with what was happening.
Former X Factor star and Celebrity Big Brother star Rylan had been in the thick of the Eurovision Song Contest action all week, having hosted the semi finals on BBC Three alongside Scott Mills on Tuesday and Thursday. A Graham Norton took the reins for the final, Rylan got to enjoy the event, with cameras capturing him and former Strictly contestant Scott just before Sam performed Space Man near the end of the Eurovision final running order.
After all 25 performances were done and the interval entertainment, including last year's Eurovision winners Maneskin and Eurovision host and Grace Kelly singer Mika was done with, Eurovision fans across the world held their breath for the result. And no one could quite believe what was happening as Sam got the coveted 'douze points' from a number of countries, helping him to top the leaderboard after the jury votes.

And no-one was more shocked than Rylan. Tweeting from his seat in the Turin arena, he posted: "we’re top of the leaderboard I can’t." He clearly struggled to come to terms with the drama that was unfolding as, at the time of writing at 11am on Sunday, he hadn't tweeted anything else!
Unfortunately for Sam and UK based fans, the Eurovision voting doesn't end there, with the opinion dividing televote living up to predictions by changing everything and leading to a win for Ukraine after they got the most votes from viewers. However, for all that some viewers were confident that no one would vote for the UK, Sam came fifth in the televote, which also handed Moldova big boost and led to them finishing in 7th place in the final standings.
