The King's coronation is fast approaching and ahead of the long weekend, some more details have been released about BBC's Coronation Concert. The coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, May 6, with the concert taking place at Windsor Castle one day later on Sunday, May 7.
The line-up for the Coronation Concert, which will be presented by Hugh Bonneville, has already been revealed with Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel perfoming while Sir Tom Jones is amongst the stars who will appear in a series of pre-recorded sketches and segments revealing little-known facts about The King.
A traditional male voice choir from Caerphilly and a refugee choir, also from Wales form part of the line-up too. And while the stage will be studded with stars, the centrepiece of the Coronation Concert will be what's called the Lighting up the Nation live sequence.

The segment will see the country join together in celebration as iconic locations across the United Kingdom are lit up using projections, lasers, potential drone displays and illuminations. From Edinburgh to The Eden Project, famous landmarks, areas of natural beauty and street parties will connect through a beautifully choreographed display of light.
Cardiff has been listed among the first locations, which will see a display of drones will illuminate the Cardiff night sky above the Wales Millennium Centre, as the building comes to life. A public event will also be hosted on the nearby Roald Dahl Plass.
Lighting up the Nation locations
Blackpool - A choreographed lighting display will envelope Blackpool’s most well-known seafront attractions. Members of the public will be invited to a viewing party in front of the Blackpool Tower.
Sheffield - The Town Hall will showcase a spectacular light-up moment for a great community gathering in the Peace Gardens to celebrate this very special occasion.
Newcastle and Gateshead- Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge will be lit up creating beautiful reflections in the water in front of an audience gathered on Baltic Square at Gateshead Quayside.
Belfast - A memorable light show will be created in Belfast for viewers at home.
Edinburgh - a public event will take place in Princes Street Gardens.
Cornwall - A spectacular drone show will be brought to Cornwall at the Eden Project to light up the sky, while the Biomes turn multicoloured for viewers at home and an audience of specially invited guests from the local volunteer community, including those who organise Big Lunches for their communities.
Cardiff - another drone display, this one will illuminate the night sky above Wales Millennium Centre, bringing the building to life. A public event also will be hosted on the nearby Roald Dahl Plass.
The remaining three locations will be revealed during the Coronation Concert.
