The final episode also saw the death of young mother Carol's baby twin, who was buried with a victim from the train crash.
Stephen said: "Also, my mum lost twins like Carol. My brothers. They were placed in a coffin with a stranger. xx"
His post received hundreds of replies including one from MP Carolyn Harris who said: "My mum lost a baby 2 years before I was born and that little girl was buried with a stranger too. But not alone which was a comfort to my parents."
Call The Midwife is returning for series 12 and a Christmas special has been confirmed for December 2022.
