Nina Warhurst has been praised for continuing to discuss the experiences of those caring for loved ones with dementia on BBC Breakfast amid a new series on the show.
It comes after the presenter, 42, opened up about her father Chris having the condition in a short documentary piece for the BBC show recently alongside her two sisters.
They spoke candidly in the piece earlier this month about what life has been like since their dad's diagnosis, including mentioning some of the challenges they have faced.
It's since been revealed that Nina was subsequently contacted by many viewers about their own experiences and there's now been further reporting on dementia.
It was announced on BBC Breakfast this morning that it will air a series of short pieces, which are set to see Nina interview other families in similar circumstances.
The first instalment aired earlier and included comments from Nina about the response she received from viewers after opening up about caring for her father recently.
She said: "It's been really comforting for me and my sisters reading through so many of your stories which are familiar to ours'. It's sort of made us feel less alone.
"The volume of stories that you shared [though] just tells us how many families who are doing their absolute best but despite that just feel like they're drowning," she added.
Elsewhere in the segment, Nina spoke to others who have experience caring for loved ones with dementia, including having conversations about support for affected families.
BBC viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the segment, with some suggesting that it resonated with them because of their experiences. Others praised Nina over it.
One viewer said: "I'm weeping at the segment on dementia. I too cared for a loved one with vascular dementia. She died last year. I wholeheartedly salute all the carers/families.
The viewer further commented about their own experience: "It's tough, painful and exhausting. But it's the best thing you'll ever do in your life for someone."

Another tweeted: "Kudos to you [Nina], honestly; I can only imagine how much weight you are bearing going through it - and at the same time sharing your story to inspire others."
"Thank you [Nina] for sharing your own experiences and those of others who are going through this nightmare with people they love," another viewer tweeted earlier.
The presenter shared the clip on her account and wrote: "Although this is painful - I'm so pleased that hearing other people’s stories out loud is helping lots of our viewers."
She further commented in her tweet: "Sometimes knowing it's not just you is the boost you need to get through the day. Respect to all dementia caters".
