BBC Breakfast host Nina Warhurst has given birth to a baby girl, her co-stars have confirmed.
During this morning's show, anchors Sally Nugent and Jon Kay revealed that Nina and her husband Ed Fraser had welcomed their third child.
The couple already share two sons, Digby, seven and Michael, five, but have now welcomed their first daughter.
Sally said: "Some very exciting news now about our colleague Nina Warhurst, who we said goodbye to not very many days ago as she went off on maternity leave.
"She has welcomed a very healthy, beautiful baby girl."
The breakfast show went on to share a picture of the mother and daughter moments after she was welcomed into the world as Jon gushed: "And there she is!"
The pair went on to say that Nina and her husband Ed are yet to decide on a name for their little girl which was a "work in progress".
Jon added: "Nina has told us the baby's name is a working progress, but the great news is they're all doing well after what Nina says was brilliant care from the team at St Mary's in Manchester," before saying: "Isn't she gorgeous?"
Sally continued: "I believe this as well - Nina said she's watching from home, morning, Nina!
"Along with the baby and two beautiful big brothers and she's very grateful for all the gorgeous messages she's had from people at home who are watching too.
"So she wants to pass on her thanks for everything - all the kind words people have said."
"All our love to you and the family, Nina – that is fantastic, we're delighted for you," commented Jon.
