Dan Walker has updated his followers ahead of his last day on BBC Breakfast. The presenter is leaving the morning news programme after six years for Channel 5 News.
On Tuesday, May 17, Dan will say goodbye to the famous red sofa, however, the 46-year-old has revealed that things haven't gone to plan. Ahead of his final shift Dan took to social media to reveal some "travel-based issues" meant he was struggling to get to the studio.
Speaking to his 758,000 Twitter followers, Dan said: "Hello everybody. Thank you for all the gorgeous messages that you're sending through about my final shift on BBC Breakfast tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it - if I actually manage to get there.
