BBC Breakfast star Carol Kirkwood showed off her engagement ring as she revealed how her fiancé proposed to her.
The presenter, 60, surprised fans when she got engaged to her man Steve a week before her birthday at the end of May.
And now Carol has lifted the lid on her engagement and her special halo ring - made from sparkling diamonds.
Recalling the romantic proposal, the television star revealed she and Steve went to their favourite walking spots in Berkshire to enjoy a picnic when Steven began squirming.
She assumed something was wrong as he was moving around so much.
The weather reporter told Hello! magazine : "It was a lovely, sunny day and we had taken a picnic with us, and we were sitting by the river, watching the boats going by."
"I turned to say: 'What's wrong?' He was on his knee, and he proposed. At first, I thought he was joking, but he said: 'No no, I really do mean it, Will you marry me?' I said: 'Yes!! Of course!"
She explained Steve chose her sparkling diamond engagement ring, which is called a "halo ring".
Carol said: "My other half, Steve, chose it himself. I was very impressed – and he got the size right. It's what they call a halo ring with a central diamond and then diamonds around it. It is gorgeous."
The TV presenter and Steve met in their 50s and were friends before things turned romantic.
She first revealed her engagement while live on air in May.
Carol was congratulated by her BBC Breakfast colleagues Sally Nugent and Jon Kay as she reported from the Chelsea Flower Show.
