Carol Kirkwood has hit out at "mean" BBC Breakfast viewers after a Christmas debate. Naga Munchetty was nowhere to be seen as Friday December 30 was hosted instead by Nina Warhurst and Charlie Stayt.
BBC weather star Carol was speaking out during her forecast segment. Nina and Charlie sat on the red sofa and asked BBC viewers to share their disappointing Christmas gifts this year, reports Birmingham Live.
But Carol branded BBC viewers "mean" for revealing the presents they didn't like. Nina asked: "Did you get some good Christmas presents this year?" Carol replied: "Yes!"Nina continued: "Have you ever had one where you thought, 'Oh, that's not quite hit the spot?'"

Carol said: "Do you know what Nina? Even if I had, I wouldn't admit it because somebody's gone out and spent their hard-earned cash and thought about buying a gift."
She added: "So that would just be mean." Charlie asked: "How many people are sending you stuff?" Nina admitted: "Well, Jane's got in touch with me on Twitter. Her husband was brave enough to get her a large, collapsible laundry basket which he says is, 'The Rolls-Royce of collapsible laundry baskets."
Naga, meanwhile, spent her morning in the gym, and posted a sweaty selfie from her workout. She captioned the post: "Last gym visit for 2022. Aiming for a fitter, and hopefully healthier, 2023. Xx"
In reply, a follower wrote: "Excellent workout looking beautiful, stunning, hot and utterly divine and totally scrumptious. Wishing you a happy and prosperous New year gorgeous." Another wrote: "May you achieve all your goals Naga, and continue to be the best News and Current affairs Journalists out there! All the very best for 2023!"
And another agreed, writing: "Apologies for my shallowness when I say 'there's nothing better than a glistening Munchetty!' wishing you all the best for 2023 :)"
