BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood flashed an engagement ring as she presented from the Chelsea Flow Show during Monday's instalment of the morning programme.
Co-host Sally Nugent said "I'm a bit concerned about how you're standing up with a giant rock on that left hand." Carol replied: "Thank you Sal! It is rather nice. I got engaged!
"We got engaged when we were on holiday. So it's lovely news and we're both thrilled. Thank you!" Jon Kay added: "We're all so chuffed for you Carol, on behalf of everyone here and everyone at home too."

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker passed on his congratulations via Twitter. The former Strictly star shared a snap of himself with Carol.
He said: "Congratulations Carol. If you get married live on #BBCBreakfast can I come back for a one off? [cry-laughing emoji]".
Dan quit the Beeb after almost six years last month, when he confirmed he would step from the channel to join Channel 5. In a video shared on Twitter, he said he will present 5 News as the replacement for Sian Williams.
He explained how the move wasn't money driven as he added: "I've never ever been motivated by money in any job that I've ever taken and even though I love BBC Breakfast and everybody that works on the show, it's a fantastic opportunity to work with a brilliant team at Channel 5. And also, go an make some other programmes outside of here."
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One and iPlayer
