BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst has announced the birth of her baby online by sharing some adorable pictures of her daughter. The business and consumer specialist shared the news of the birth on Twitter, thanking well-wishers for their messages.
Fellow Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent also shared the news live on the morning programme, telling viewers they had only just said goodbye to their colleague "not very many days ago as she went off on maternity leave." After treating viewers to some pictures of the baby girl, Sally said the name of the little girl is so far "still a work in progress."
Sharing the news of the birth on Twitter, Nina wrote: "Thank you for the messages! We are all well and loved up (aside from the standard sleep deprivation / bits & bobs falling off. A second delivery @MFT_SaintMarys @MFTnhs - and words can’t describe how safe and supported the midwives & wider team made us feel. Thank you."

Nina thanked Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service & Regional Centre of Excellence in her tweet for the care they had been given. The journalist also shared pictures of her newborn on her Instagram stories, with the catchlines "she's here" and "busy doing nothing."
Her Twitter followers left notes of congratulations, calling the little girl "gorgeous" and "adorable."
