Viewers of BBC Breakfast were left bemused at the weekend over presenters Rachel Burden and Victoria Fritz's choice of attire.
Fans of the Sunday edition of BBC's flagship morning show took to social media to lay into the pair afterwards, complaining about their respective outfits.
Rachel, 47, donned a pine green satin blouse along with dark floral midi skirt, whilst Victoria, 38, opted for a black shoulder-bearing top with dark grey fitted jeans.
Taking to Twitter, one user commented: " #bbcbreakfast Distracted by presenter clothing. Is she wearing jeans? Just looks add and out of keeping with other presenter?"
Another wrote: " #BBCBreakfast have the 2 presenters come back straight from clubbing to work this morning? #partyoutfit."
A third added: "All female @BBCBreakfast presenters should have to wear a shirt and tie like the men slaves. #bbcbreakfast."
And a fourth said: "Victoria Fritz seemed to have popped in to present BBC Breakfast on her way back from the ball."
Back in July the Beeb announced it was appointing a number of new presenters in the wake of previous host Dan Walker's exit - as he departed for Channel 5.
At the time the broadcaster revealed that Jon Kay would sit alongside Sally Nugent on the famous red sofa each weekday morning.
On Saturday, meanwhile, fellow presenter Charlie Stayt was left exasperated after he was left caught in a crossover between his co-star colleagues during the live show.
The segment occurred during the hand over to BBC Weatherman Matt Taylor as the weather screen showed a picture of a sunrise in East Wales and before the report Naga questioned whether it was a sunrise.
After Matt gave viewers an in-depth look at the weather predictions for the weekend, Naga asked for his insight on a debate.
Naga asked: "Are there any rules which say that it's definitely a sunrise? Could that have been a sunset?"
Matt pointed out some mist in the picture, saying: "The giveaway here is the fact you've got a little bit of shallow fog here."
BBC Breakfast star Naga replied bluntly: "You can get shallow fog at sunset."
He replied: "You can do, you can do. OK, it could be either. But it's definitely a sunrise, I promise you."
In response, Matt let out an awkward laugh and said: Thank you, I’m off.”
