There was some unexpected chaos on Tuesday's BBC Breakfast, when the clock which appears in the corner of viewers' TV screens disappeared, forcing presenters Jon Kay and Nina Warhurst to apologise.
After close to two weeks of very different morning television for the BBC and many other channels after the Queen's death and her funeral on Monday, Jon and Nina were back on the famous Breakfast red sofa to host the latest episode. But, as viewers tuned in with their morning coffee, there was a big problem - the clock was nowhere to be seen.
The clock is the way many viewers keep an eye on the time to ensure they're not running late for work or the school run, so it didn't take long for Twitter to be awash with posts about the same thing - 'where has the clock gone?'

The error was picked up on by hosts Jon and Nina, when cameras cut back to the just just before 6.30am. On realising that something wasn't quite right, Jon exclaimed: "Our clock’s broken!”
Backtracking slightly, he continued: “Well, it’s disappeared. “Our on-screen clock has disappeared!"
Admitting that the disappearance of the clock had prompted a number of complaints from confused viewers, Jon added: "It’s causing chaos for lots of you this morning.
“You’ve been in touch this morning saying you don’t know what to do, you don’t know what the time is." Jon himself then informed viewers of the correct time, volunteering to be the talking clock until the problem was rectified.
Taking a more formal tone, Nina said: "Apologies for that. We are working on it. We’re going to try and get the clock back this morning but we will update you on the time as and when.”
When the clock made its comeback minutes later, Nina quipped: "“We can start properly now, can’t we?”
