BBC apologises after pundit goes unchallenged on Hillsborough 'hooliganism' comment

THE BBC has apologised for offensive remarks about the Hillsborough disaster which went unchallenged when made by a football pundit.

Martin Tyler has also apologised after he appeared to refer to the tragic incident, which resulted in the deaths of 97 people, as a “hooligan-related” event.
