Best known for wowing on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor professional dancer turned judge Anton Du Beke and professional dancer Giovanni Pernice have a new BBC One show. They will be swapping the dance floor for touring Giovanni's home of Sicily, as Anton learns all about Italian culture in Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily.
The pair are firm friends having also toured across the UK together in their dance show, named Him and Me. Anton has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing since the show began in 2004 and Giovanni joined Strictly in 2015.

Speaking about the new series, Giovanni said: "To say this has been a dream project is an understatement! Taking Anton to my much-loved home of Sicily was simply Bellissima!

Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily will begin on BBC One on Tuesday, March 21 at 9pm. The full series will also be available on iPlayer from 9pm.

There will be three episodes of Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily, with the first episode airing on Tuesday, March 21 at 9pm. The second episode will air on BBC One at 9pm on Tuesday, March 28 at 9pm. All episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 9pm on Tuesday, March 21.
What to expect in Anton and Giovanni's Adventures
Prepare for sun, sea and plenty of surprises as Anton du Beke and Giovanni Pernice head to Sicily to see the best of the Mediterranean island. On their road trip they will take in the sights, enjoy the food and share lots of laughs along the way.
The pair will be exploring Syracuse, Catania, Mount Etna, Taormina and Gino's home city of Palermo where Gio will introduce his family to Anton. There is set to be special guests, including Giovanni's Strictly winning dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis.
Speaking about the series, Anton said: "When I first heard about this trip it was pretty irresistible. What's not to love? It's all my favourite things, great food, great country and spending time in the sunshine with Giovanni. Marvellous!"
