Serge Gnabry enjoyed another highly successful season with Bayern Munich last time out. The 26-year-old scored 17 goals and notched ten assists in 45 appearances across all competitions, as Julian Nagelsmann’s side romped to the Bundesliga title.
The former Arsenal winger arrived at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2018 and has been an integral part of a Bayern side that have dominated German football. He even started in their 2020 Champions League final victory over Paris Saint-Germain emphasising his importance to the side.
However, despite his role in Bayern’s recent success, Gnabry has just one year remaining on his contract and has yet to agree to a new deal. His situation has seen him linked with a number of clubs across Europe, including Arsenal, but Nagelsmann is confident that the German international will extend his stay with the Bundesliga champions.

"I'm very confident that he'll stay, he told reporters ahead of last season's clash with Freiburg. "I think from a football point of view, he has everything that he needs.
"He has a coach that likes him as a person and as a player, and he has teammates whom he gets along with very well privately. He feels very comfortable here, it's a matter of talks between the club and the manager, but I do believe that we'll find a solution.
"He's a very good player, he's played outstanding games for us and will continue to do so, so we would all like to keep him here."
However, if Gnabry doesn't put pen to paper on a new deal, it could force Bayern to sell in the upcoming transfer window rather than risk losing him for free next summer. And according to The Sun, the German giants would want around £33million for his signature.
Gnabry played for Arsenal between 2012-16 but failed to establish himself as a first-team regular and left the club to join Werder Bremen. He subsequently rebuilt his career in his homeland. However, it remains to be seen if the Gunners can tempt their former star to return to north London without the carrot of Champions League football.
