'Battlefield Hardline' Is Going Offline on Consoles, But EA Is Keeping It on PCs

Electronic Arts has confirmed that "Battlefield Hardline" console versions are going offline in a few months, and this means that the game's online action campaigns and more will no longer be accessible to the public.

However, there is one platform where the game will be available to play, and that is on the PC.

'Battlefield Hardline' Is Going Offline on Consoles

Electronic Arts announced that it is taking down the 11-year-old game from its console platforms in a few months, including the ones for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

The game is getting delisted first on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digital storefronts on May 22. This will prevent users from purchasing the game as well as all the additional content that the studio released, including its downloadable content.

EA then revealed the more important information that players need to know, and that is "Battlefield Hardline's" online services will go offline on June 22.

EA Keeps 'Battlefield Hardline' on PCs

Despite this sad news for "Battlefield Hardline" on consoles, the game is not yet fully disappearing as users who play the first-person shooter on PCs will be able to continue playing the game and enjoy what it has to offer.

EA did not mention anything about the game being delisted from digital storefronts for PCs like the Microsoft Store, Steam, and other channels. This also means that players who still want to purchase the title, along with its additional content, may still continue to do so.

"Please note: Today's update does not impact PC. 'Battlefield Hardline' on PC will remain available, including online service," Electronic Arts said.
