Shoppers had a full day to stock up on their favorite fragrances and candles, which boosted brand sales by 30%. "Thanks to our customers' fervor and demand, it's a thrill to expand our Halloween collection this year and celebrate their love for spooky season with them," said Jamie Sohosky, Bath & Body Works’ Chief Marketing Officer.
In addition, Bath & Body Works’ 1,800 retail stores were tricked out with over-the-top product displays and a ghoulish soundtrack, ensuring a hauntingly good time for all.

The four new scents that made up the 2023 Halloween collection at Bath & Body Works were available in a variety of formats: concentrated room sprays, liquid hand soaps, hand sanitizers, body lotions, three-wick candles, and home fragrance diffusers.
The collection consisted of:
- Everlasting Magic, a “bejeweled mix” of soft florals, berries and musk.
- Midnight Spell, a woodsy medley of amber and apple.
- Moonlit Graveyard, a moody blend of moss and incense.
- Spellbinding Sweets, a nod to Halloween night, brimful of berries and bubblegum.

A 3-wick candle fits inside this 11x14-inch ceramic luminary, setting it aglow with ghoulish detail. But buyers bemoaned its steep price tag — at more than $200 a pop, social media commenters complained that this item wasn’t in tune with the brands’ usually affordable aesthetic.
Just wait a few weeks, they advised each other — this was Bath & Body Works, after all, and so, invariably, it would go on sale. You could almost hear their cackles ring out into the night.
