NEW DELHI: Former cricketer Basit Ali has expressed concerns about Pakistan's squad selection for the South Africa tour, particularly regarding Babar Azam's inclusion and Shaheen Shah Afridi's omission from the Test squad.

Pakistan announced its touring contingent for the South Africa series, commencing December 10 in Durban. Notable decisions included Babar's return to the Test squad after being excluded from two Tests against England, while Shaheen remains absent from the longer format.
