Barry Humphries' health reportedly "worsened in the last week" before he was rushed to the hospital.
The 89-year-old, who is best known for his Dame Edna Everage character, recently underwent hip replacement surgery but was readmitted to St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney earlier this week due to complications.
His family have been by his side and it was revealed that he is currently in a "serious condition but kept comfortable".
