RAIPUR: Had the last pair of hosts Chhattisgarh survived the last six overs of the day, the state would have drawn the match against Baroda and qualified for the knock-out stage of the Cooch Behar Trophy, played in steel city Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

However, the journey of the hosts' team ended after they lost to Baroda by an innings and 57 runs in the four-day match.
