Members of a drug gang which produced 'industrial quantities' of cannabis in St Helens have been jailed.
The six members of the organised crime group, named Barnardo, supplied millions of pounds worth of drugs to other OCGs between 2020 and 2021. Manchester Crown Court heard that the gang produced cannabis on an 'industrial scale'.
The cannabis was produced in massive industrial units in St Helens and Bacup. Police first became aware of the operation when some of the drugs being transported from a farm in St Helens fell from a horsebox and was seized by police.
