Fútbol Total claim that Barca are targeting the England international as their major signing of the 2023 summer transfer window in order to 'complete their squad'.

They add that the La Liga giants would offer €80m (£67m) for the Reds star, who is under contract until 2025.

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has confirmed he will miss the start of the new Premier League season after sustaining an injury during Sunday's 3-0 defeat against Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg.
The Frenchman fell to the ground twice in quick succession during the early stages of the second half and was subsequently substituted by manager Jurgen Klopp, before heading straight down the tunnel. Now the 23-year-old has taken to social media to reveal that he will not be fit for selection for "some time" following the injury.
