The untitled documentary, which does not yet have a release date, follows Streisand's recent 1,000-page memoir where she shared her life story in detail. The film will be produced by Oscar-winning documentary maker Alex Gibney, known for his work on projects about notable figures like Paul Simon and Steve Jobs.
In a statement, Streisand expressed her excitement about sharing the unseen content she has carefully preserved over the years.
