Arguably one of the most hotly anticipated films of the decade so far, tickets for Greta Gerwig's Barbie have gone on sale today (June 21). Fans of the iconic doll and cinephiles are now able to book their tickets for the live action movie, which will be released in UK cinemas on July 21.
Gerwig's (Ladybird, Little Women) latest project stars Margot Robbie (I, Tonya, The Wolf of Wall Street) in the titular role, and follows the much-adored doll as she is exiled from Barbieland because of her imperfections. But when her home world is in peril, Barbie returns with the knowledge that what makes her different also makes her stronger.
To coincide with the launch of the fabulous film, any Bristol Barbie fans who bring along a real-life Ken to one of the Vue cinemas at Cribbs Causeway or Longwell Green during opening weekend (July 21-23) will receive a regular free Tango Ice Blast or popcorn. An appropriate gift, given Vue is launching a limited-edition Tango Ice Blast flavour, inspired by the iconic character on July 21.
