Owners and staff at Kilmarnock's bar and diner Oceans 11 are "delighted" to reopen after being closed for two weeks as a result of the blaze at a nearby property.
Oceans 11 will welcome customers back on Friday, June 9 from 11am after a team from a professional national cleaning company has spent the last four days thoroughly cleaning the pub from top to bottom.
Ramon and Michelle Tognini have owned Oceans 11 for the last 31 years and were only ever closed down during the Covid pandemic.
Ramon said: "We can't wait to welcome everyone back and are truly grateful for the encouragement and support we have received from our community.
"The bookings are thankfully starting to come through now. We are very excited about finally getting back open"
The team is also preparing a special reopening burger called 'out of the fire and back into the frying pan', which is a quarter-pound beef burger topped with smoked sausage, bacon, smoked cheese and BBQ sauce.
Bookings are now open at Oceans 11 and the team is getting ready to welcome loyal customers back.
Fraser Cheyne, who has been working as a chef at Oceans for 27 years, said: "I am delighted to be getting back to work, we all are, it's a big happy family really.
"We are in today, Wednesday and Thursday to get ready and can't wait to get back to the norm."
