Colin Farrell has been named one of the highest-grossing Irish movie stars.
The Dubliner grossed €2 billion worldwide for his 27 leading roles, averaging €82 million a movie. Some of his most prominent roles come from his frequent inclusion in the movies of Martin McDonagh, such as In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths and 2022’s The Banshees of Inisherin opposite Brendan Gleeson.
The Castleknock man came in fourth after other big names such as Liam Neeson, Michael Fassbender, and Pierce Brosnan. Another Dubliner who made the list is Domnhall Gleeson who ranked 10th with a total worldwide gross of €191 million averaging at €38 million per movie.
