A Bannockburn gran this week warned of the dangerous condition of a town playpark.
Jennifer Martin said children could be injured on broken equipment at the playpark off Hillpark Crescent.
Stirling Council have recently put up fencing to prevent access to the equipment, but it has been removed, she said.
Jennifer commented:“Stirling Council put up Heras fencing around the climbing frame four weeks ago.
“But the fencing is inadequate and has been pulled down.
“No-one from the council has returned to sort things out.
“The chute on the climbing frame is broken and a danger to children.
“It is an accident waiting to happen.
“Something needs to be done to upgrade our playpark and make it safe for kids. A child could be seriously hurt.
“I have lived in Hillpark for 27 years. My kids played in that park and now my grandchildren play in it.
“It’s a shame to see it in that condition.”

A Stirling Council spokesperson said this week: “Arrangements are in place to remove and upgrade the climbing frame.
“Temporary fencing to prevent it from being used in the meantime will be replaced now that it has been reported missing.”
