The Traitors star Maddy Smedley has dubbed her co-stars 'cowards in a corner' for voting her out the BBC show.
Claudia Winkleman hosts the exciting finale of the BBC One programme this evening, as we finally find out whether Traitors Wilf and Kieran will be able to take the prize pot or if it'll end up in the hands of the remaining Faithfuls - Hannah, Meryl and Aaron.
Maddy found herself booted off the show in shock scenes last night, as her fellow stars came together to vote her out, despite them previously saying it must be a man who is the third and final of the Traitors following Alyssa and Amanda's exits.
Now Maddy has given her verdict on the controversial banishment, insisting her co-stars are "cowardly".
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, she said: "I think they just went with an easy option because they'd already said about the acting and stuff and all of them were sort of cowards in a corner and they just went and they threw my name into the mix and I think that was all it was. Cause I don't actually think they thought that was a traitor at all."
Maddy had a chance to leave the game earlier with £3,000 but she declined to prove she was a Faithful.
She also admitted it was a huge shock when Alyssa and Amanda were both revealed to be Traitors.
She added: "I couldn't believe it. Like I'd even leant both of them stuff. Alyssa, I'd given her some of my butterfly clips and Amanda I had given her some of my kirby grips. They were my friends in there, so I was really shocked.
"I've grown up with probably more women in my life, so it is harder to see them in a bad light. Whereas I think men, you can see them more in a bad light. Maybe it's actually to do with that. They were great support even though they were Traitors."
Meanwhile, Maddy is hoping she might find herself back on our screens soon and is writing a sitcom with her sibling.
Asked what's next for her, she said: "So me and my sister are writing a sitcom at the moment and it's been pitched to channels in the new year. So fingers crossed that comes to a screen near you soon.
"We are doing that and then obviously I would say yes to EastEnders if they wanted Rita [the character she played] to come back. I think the world's your oyster and stuff, so I'm gonna take whatever comes I think now."
